ARC participates in Connecticut's Birth to Three System and offers the
following services and supports to infants and toddlers and their families:
Year round services
in home and community based settings. Early intervention strategies
integrated into day-to-day family activities.
Parent to parent
networking to provide understanding and emotional support, practical
information, and direction to available resources.
Collaboration with
community-based preschools and child care centers to provide
services in a variety of natural settings.
Professional services
may include special education, speech and language pathology,
physical therapy, occupational therapy, and social work.
Ongoing meetings
and workshops that provide parents training and support.
Collaboration with
families and agencies to ensure coordination of services and
smooth transition to public school services.
